ABOUT US

The Union bar was originally the First National Bank in the late 1890’s.  At some point it became the Union Savings and Loan.  In 1928 it became the Union bar, coincidentally that was during prohibition.  In the 95 years since there has been 6 owners.  It was originally built by Martin Gering. For the longest time it only had 6 tables and now after acquiring two other buildings we have 45 tables  that includes our beautiful heated out door patio!  The patio has a stage where we occasionally have live bands.  We offer the best bourbon selection in the panhandle!!  We are located just 300 ft from the original Oregon Trail.  So come on in and meet the Ucrew and have some award winning food!
